It's Like....Whatever...


Yeah that's right! Whatever! I read other people's blogs. I don't know the reason as to why they write. For me, I just write. Why should I sit and try to disect a reason as to why I put my fingers to the keyboard? Does it matter? Maybe, maybe not. It's just whatever. My "whatever" attitude has taken me a new high in 2005. Things that I use to worry about, or things that I try to find a solution for, now reside in the "whatever" box. When someone hurts you, you try to understand or figure out why it happened, or why does it have to be this way. Now, it's "whatever". Why should I give a shit? Why waste time with something or someone who has kicked you to the curb? Why sit in the house and cry and make yourself sick over someone who doesn't even appreciate you? Makes no sense to me! It's like...(you know the word by now).

When you are being yourself, why should you second guess yourself when someone takes shots at you? Why should you feel less confident of self when you don't meet someone's approval, whether it's a job or a person? You must say to yourself, yeah that's right, "whatever". Things and events happen for a reason. Expect it. Conquer it. Get over it. Whatever! When someone tells you that you need to do this and you need to do that, tell them "whatever". "Oh, Da Original One, you should go back to school!" WHATEVER! "Yeah J, you shouldn't do that, that is too risky!" "WHATEVER!" "J, you shouldn't talk to people like that!" "WHATEVER!" Do you people see where I am going with this? I certainly hope so, cause if you don't, then WHATEVER!

My favorite college football team, Texas Longhorns, are ONE game away from playing for the National Championship. I can't wait to see the game in January. Chances are that they will face USC, the offensive machine. Texas will be ready. I will write later about this.

Da Bears won again, this time in Tampa Bay 13-10. The defense, which is #1 in the league, played like.........the #1 defense in the league. At 8-3, we are looking good in the Chi, but the Vikings are coming up, but they will fall short.

Computer Love...or Addict...

One Like No Other...


It has been known for a while. Maybe since about let's say...'97 or maybe '98. It was something that came upon me and swept me off my feet and I didn't even know it. It took comments from others to make me realize what was going on. I didn't want to believe only because I felt that it wasn't true. As the years past, '01,'02,'03, I think it started to sink in. I knew that there would come a time when I could no longer fight it. I would eventually fall for it. I was in denial, and wanted to continue likewise. Now that '06 is approaching, the feeling is spreading and maybe, hey, it's okay DO1. It's okay that you have a love, a passion for someone. It happens to the best of us. This feeling I can hold no longer on the inside. So here it is! I am in love. Yes!! I am in love. I am in love with the computer. Although I have come out of the closet with this, the question still remains: Is it love that I have for the computer, or is it just simply an addiction?


An Addict in the Making...


Let's break this down. When you wake up in the morning, what is the VERY first thing that you do? Some people go to the bathroom, maybe to take care of some business or brush their teeth. Some may make up their bed, or others may walk outside to get the newspaper. Some may turn on the TV if it hasn't been on all night. Do you think that I do any of these things first? Fuck no. You know what I do. When I roll over to wake up, I make my way to the computer and turn it on. That's life for me now. After that, I do the other things. This is something that I cannot explain, it just happens.

Whenever someone calls me, and they said, "Whazzup? What ya doing'?" What am I doing? I usually say, "I'm on the computer." or "I'm working on the computer." It seems weird, but that IS what I'm usually doing, unless I'm out the house. One person wanted to know is there anything else I do? Another advised me that is why I am single. Others have said, "What else is new?" I just think that these comments are just funny. It's funny because I do more than just be on the computer, but you couldn't tell. I mean I can see it now: Getting into an argument with my girlfriend(when I get one), she just goin' off on me. She jealous of me and everything. Then it comes out: "Listen here mother fucka, it's either me or that stupid ass computer!!!" What decision will I make? The obvious one. I'm sorry but the woman has got to go! If she doesn't understand, then she needs to hit the bricks!

I was conversating with a sista a couple days back. She admitted to me her addiction of the computer back in the day. She also said that the right girl will understand your addiction to the computer and accept it. Good point. I feel that I can separate the two, but most people beg to differ. I have many reasons to why I am this way. I would be forever explaining my reasons. Besides the numerous amounts of information that you can obtain from the computer, it will also play a MAJOR part in my plan to become successful. You know I have heard it, stop messin around on the computer and go to school. You go to school! I am on to something, and the computer has become very close to me. Some people say that I take care of the computer better than I take care of myself. I care not to believe that.

With the help of Internet, the computer has enabled me to see things that I couldn't see with my eyes. I have been able to expand my knowledge on things that I knew a lot of, and educate myself on things I didn't know existed. One friend has helped me to realize my potential with the computer, he knows who he is, and I thank him for that.

One of my million goals is to be making 100,000 by this time next year. Do you think I will accomplish this goal by working a 9-5 job? Don't think so. The computer will help me reach that goal. Along with that, it will help me reach other goals too. People are now seeing how serious I am about this, but still want know how will the computer help me? Remember, information age, not industrial age.

Since now that every other sentence out of my mouth is pertaining to the computer, I have gain more love for the computer. I'm not going to say that I was using the computer for the wrong reasons before, but I know now how I can benefit from it. So therefore I love it, so what. I don't care what you all say. If you think you can replace the computer, feel free to step up and try. I will let you know that you will have a challenge on your hands.

So am I just addicted or is it love? Does it matter? It is what it is...LOL!

I have talked about it but congratulations to the Chicago Bears for showing the world that you guys are for real by beating a Super Bowl team in Carolina. With allowing only 3 points, gathering 1,000 sacks on Delhomme, and two picks, the Bears' defense can say that they are number 1. Don't celebrate too long, we have Tampa Bay(7-3) next up.

I watched some college basketball last night. I watch #12 Michigan State and #9 Gonzaga. With Maurice Ager and Adam Morrison putting up 36pts and 43pts respectively, it was a war with the Zags pulling it off in OT. I also saw #2 Texas come back to beat #17 Iowa, and my favorite basketball team, #8 Arizona lose to #3 Connecticut. My team looks okay, but has some work to do.

In NBA news, the Bulls do not play until Friday so we will talk about Bron-Bron and the Cavaliers. Beating Boston, and scoring 36 pts, and an 8 game win streak, Bron-Bron is MVP, well for now he is. Melo is coming around and is showing his potential. Winning 108-105 last night at Washington, he scored 28 pts and grabbed 11 boards. I have told people that he will explode this year. Losing 20 pounds has already paid off.

I started to retire for the night, but I wanted to write some more. Had some things on my mind. No more stolen posts for now. LOL! 2005 is almost in the books. 2006 is near. I came into 2005 with a vision and many goals. Some I accomplished, some I didn't. Some will take more than one year, but that's okay. My persona can deal with that. As usual when the New Year comes around I will set more goals and try to climb more mountains. So I should deal with that when the New Year comes, or maybe not?

Why do people need a New Year to come around to set goals? I never understood that. Like if I was in a relationship, it wouldn't take a day like Valentine's Day or her birthday to say, "Oh, it's ________ Day! I have to buy her something." Shit, if I'm thinking about her on March 20 or on July 27, then I will buy her something to show her that I'm thinking about her. That's just me! I don't need a new year to say hey I have to make some resolutions or feel forced to buy something because of some holiday. Flowers to her job doesn't required a certain day. Candlelight dinners don't need one, picnics in the park don't either, so why should goals and resolutions have one? But again, that's just me...

For those who take the time to read my blog (and I sincerely thank you for it, you could be doing something else), you will know that on October 1, 2005, I revealed my plan. For those who don't know, it was to become a millionaire in five years. I honesty believe that it will happen before that but you have to set a goal. It was not to become financially free, that will be a future goal. It took for me to hit rock bottom to see my potential that I wasn't applying to my daily life. I know it's been only a month and a half since the settings of my plan, but I really felt deep down that some people didn't believe me. Not that I care, because I don't, but...I had to prove to myself several things within me that I could do it. Some people do see how serious I am and want to know my plans to reaching my goal. Some will sit back and see how I will do. You know who you are! To see if I fail and then say I'm glad I didn't do that with him, but when I DO succeed, they will ask themselves why they didn't take the journey with me? As I said before, people are afraid to take risk.. Why retire at 55 when you can retire at 35? Just askin'...

So when the New Year comes around, I will tell people of my resolutions, but they won't start on January 2, because they will be already in effect...


Bottom to the Top...


I mentioned earlier about rock bottom. I didn't really hit rock bottom, but shit I got real close. Physically, mentally, and spiritually I took drastic hits. I am now glad that it did happen. I am in transition now to get where I want to be. I can go nowhere but up. I'm changing! I didn't really see that, but I am changing before my eyes. I am doing things that I rarely did. I am seeing things that I didn't see before. Some I can explain, some I can't. I'm not working now, which has its advantages and it disadvantages. If my next job is fairly decent in pay, YES I said job!!! I'm not looking for a career, or a profession. They got school for that shit. Like I was saying, If my next job is fairly decent in pay, I can put myself into position to replace it with my PC and not work again. That would be very special. To not work for Corp. U.S.A., would make me cry.

Hitting the bottom made me realize that you can hit the bottom. It's possible, but you don't have to stay there. I will not. I will rise to the top. If I have to leave people behind, I will. I'm not selfish, far from it, but some people are not where I am at, mentally that is. It make have taken me to hit the age of 26 (27 on Jan 5th) to see this, but better late than never. I guess by hitting the bottom and now rising, things have and will continue to be different for me. With family and friends, or when I meet women, if they don't share the same vision that I have, it will be very hard for me to relate to them. I need people in my corner or fighting with me, not sitting in the crowd betting against me. My bottom could have been worse, but I'm glad that it wasn't.


Take Charge...


I'm not a motivational speaker.( I'm coming close though,LOL!) People need to take charge of their lives. Stop hating. Stop blaming people for everything. I was driving in the go-kart over the weekend, the Neon. I came to a stop at State St. going eastbound on 87th St. There were people outside with a petition to impeach Bush. When the lady came to my window, she said to sign up to impeach Bush. I asked why should I sign. She replied, "Look at Social Security, look at Medicare!! Need I say more!" I advised her that if that is her reason for being on the street doing this then she needs to look in the mirror. She didn't take that too well. The light turned green, told her to have a nice day and drove off.

I see now that I have to take charge, get aggressive and punch the wall. I have to go to war not looking to lose. Take charge of your daily life. Take charge of your mind. Don't see yourself comparing yourself to other people. You are in charge of you! Enough said...

I went to the Bulls game on Wednesday with a friend. The Bulls were playing the Golden State Warriors. It was my first time seeing Baron Davis in action. The Bulls as usual, got off to a slow start, and as usual they come back. This time they won by a point. A win is a win.

Well, Terrell Owens is not allowed to play for the Eagles this season. That's all I'm going to say about that. Well maybe not. I got into an argument with someone about this. My friend states that he should get more money, that he deserves it. To me, T.O, as they call him, is NOT a franchise player. He needs a quarterback to throw him the ball. A quarterback or a running back is a more valuable position that what T.O. plays. He needs to shut up and play. He needs to be a team player. He doesn't need to bitch and moan. There are a LOT of people out there who would LOVE to make that kind of money. Enough of this, the Pistons/Suns game is still on....

I was waiting for this day to happen. I mean, I dropped clues and hints all over the place and no one paid any attention to it. I thought to myself, well maybe people aren't as nosy as I thought, but all the suspense has come to an end now. Finally the question was asked. A person, who reads my blog regularly, called me up and asked me what the hell is StudioTraffic? I was so ready to explain it, and now is my opportunity.

StudioTraffic is a website where they pay you to surf the web. Yes, they pay you to surf the web. It's sorta like watching commercials and getting paid to do it. It's a site where advertisers go to advertise their websites. You're looking at their sites, and StudioTraffic pays you to do it. You can be a member and a advertiser at the same time. For example, you may have a website where you need to get people to look at it. Maybe you have a business and you're trying to market it, get it on the map of the Internet world. You can advertise your sites with the credits that you receive from looking at other advertiser's websites. Sounds too good to be true hunh? But hey, it's true!!!

My friend really was feeling this. He asked me, "Well, how does the pay work out?"

When you sign up for StudioTraffic, you are given a free $10 account level. Basically, they give you $10 to start. When you start on the free account level, you are required to surf 220 sites and earn 110 credits daily. That will take about an hour to do, depends on the speed of your PC. Each website you look at is on a 20 second timer, so that's 3 websites a minutes, so about 70 minutes. Once you are done, your account will be credited 1% of what you have invested in it. Example: The free $10 you start with, you will earn 1% of that, which is $.10. Sounds little, but WAIT!!!! there's more.... You can also upgrade your account so you can earn more daily. Once you upgrade your account, it becomes a paid account, you only now have to surf 110 sites daily and you will still earn 110 credits. The higher the level, the less sites you surf. You account level can range from making $.10 a day to $150 a day. It's all up to you. You are not obligated to pay anything if you don't want to, and you don't have to refer anyone as well. I mean you will earn more but it's not necessary, which makes this better. Being mad because friends won't do this will NOT hurt you. Think about it, you can advertise your sites and watch other sites and GET PAID to do it. Where can you get that?

To give you an example of what you earn, I will reflect on the example on StudioTraffic.

Let's say that you account level was $1,000.

You will earn 1% of $1000 daily when you surf. That's $10 each day you will earn for surfing. At the end of the month, (30 days), you will have earn $300 on your $1,000.

You don't have to be a computer genius to do this. You don't need a high school diploma to do this. If you can turn on your computer, then you can do this. It's just that plain and simple! Da Sports Column...


It's new!!!! Da sports column had been added before the drink of the day. Da Bears beat Detroit on Sunday 19-13 to overtake first place in the NFC North with a record of 4-3. Not bad, even though they did lose WR Mark Bradley for the season. With the Saints next week, the Bears can spread their lead in the division, and I expect them to do just that.

Did anyone see "Da Bulls" comeback , last night? They were down 25 points to Charlotte. I thought it was over, but the Bulls clawed their way back to force the game into overtime to win it then. Curry? We don't need no stinkin' Curry!!! I also saw Bron-Bron cut loose on the Hornets for 31 points. Hitting his first six threes, King James has spoken. The Pistons looked good with Rip Hamilton rippin' up Philly. Then there was Kobe, who overcame loud boos from the crowd in Denver and triple teams by the Nuggets to drain a shot with 0.6 seconds left to win 99-97. NBA is back!!!


Da Drink of da Day...


Mexican Virgin...(one of my college drinks...)

2 oz. Tequila
3 oz. cherry Cider

Mix the two into a cup and stir...
Then pour into a glass with ice...
